Losing steam or just missing the chaos?

Now I've been accepted, nominated, cleared, and invited. The whirlwindish application process has slowed and some mixed feelings have sunk in.

I should get my invitation in the next week or so. I have ten days to either accept or decline the offer. If I decline, there's no guarantee that I'll be issued another invitation. Maybe I'm feeling anxious because this part seems so formal. I'm flashing back to the Business Law class that I took where offers and acceptance form a contract. A contract? I'll have a contract with the federal government. I'm a little nervous to say the least.
